How Did We Make The Parts?

We combined 3D printing with traditional casting process, making it much cheaper to produce than metal 3d printing

From 3D to Castings

By using 3D printed base parts, we are able to combine it with traditonal investment casting process, making a shell for pouring melt metal liquid.

What's Investment Casting

Investment casting (or precision casting, silica sol process) involves creating a wax model, coating it with ceramic, melting out the wax, and pouring molten metal into the ceramic mold. After the metal solidifies, the ceramic shell is removed, leaving a high-precision metal part.
